Tunnel to Towers Race

The second annual Tunnel to Towers Race will be held next Saturday, September 7 at Riverside Park at 7:30 AM. This 3.43 mile race is held in honor of those that sacrificed their lives in the line of duty and were lost on 9/11, as well as all of the victims of that tragic day.  Last year, quite a few CFVB members participated in the race, and we hope you choose to do it again.

The funds raised in this race go to building smart homes for veteran’s who have been seriously wounded and have lost their ability to function within their own homes on a day to day basis.

You can register one of two ways: online at or in person at Runner’s Depot (go to to print an application).  T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 500 Runner’s.

Now this is a good throw back and I know who’s going to get thrown back nothing for a while. Nanda there’s nothing wrong with wearing a helmet for safety purposes I do it myself from time to time. Enjoy your lonely weekend or week or month Matt and remember that ancient chinese proverb you told me about!
