Summer Sports Conditioning Camp

We are excited to announce a summer camp for teen athletes!

Led by Brooks Greenway, each 90-minute session will include warm-up, skill instruction, workout and cool-down. Athletes will develop more cardio endurance, speed, stamina and stength.

  • For ages 13-18
  • June 21 – July 23 (5 weeks)
  • M-W-F 2:30 to 4:00 PM
  • Cost: $350 per athlete

Check out the video below. This was the first event of regionals last weekend, "Old Glory." Athletes moved through a gauntlet of bars to get their max squat clean. Women's weight started at 120 and ended at 180. I successfully cleaned 175#. Thanks Kelly E. for putting this video together!

Workout of the Day:

AMRAP in 12 minutes:

Buy-in: Handstand push-ups 20 (men) / 10 (women)
then,
20 double-unders
10 box jumps – 24"
10 weighted walking lunges – use sandbag or med ball

    Great job to everyone doing the wod today in the 5:ooam group. We knew Wendy would throw in some of the wod’s from the Dirty South events.
    There are alot of people walking around the box who have lost some weight and looking good, keep it up we just completed our third week already.

    I watched Wendy do this in person and it was so neat how she kept her cool during the entire thing. She was definitely in the zone!

    It was between the Amazing song, and a Miley Cyrus song… Hope I made the right decision.
    BTW. Had to change my photo.. K2 totally came in and stoled mine.
