What Does CrossFit Mean to You?

The article got me thinking about how different my life would be without our gym. If it weren’t for my commitment to CFVB I wouldn’t have a sport with goals, so I’d probably be sipping on wine most nights, going through the motions at a globo gym 3-5 days a week. I wouldn’t have an appetite for learning about nutrition, the body, training methods, etc. But, that’s not all…I probably wouldn’t be as happy as I am every day. I feel strong and capable and I’m not concerned at all about turning 40 in a year (hell, I’m looking forward to being a Masters athlete!). And on top of all this, I am surrounded by such a great group that I love to hang with on a daily basis (and that don’t mind hanging out with my dogs!). I wasn’t thrilled about moving back to Vero years ago and now I love it because of our CrossFit community.
