Member Spotlight Power Couple: Matt and Nanda Harrelson 

Matt and Nanda joined CFVB four years ago. Boyfriend and girlfriend at the time, we knew these two were meant for eachother. You never see one without the other and they are often found partnering up for mud races, marathons and CrossFit throw downs. He’s the clown of the duo, turning innocent comments into dirty jokes. She just rolls her eyes and tries to contain her laughter. Matt is a Renaissance man and enjoys cooking, a skill that Nanda thoroughly enjoys. Both are a ton of fun, display unwavering support of our gym and athletes and have made so many great friends at CFVB.

This past year, they got hitched and we were lucky enough to watch them say their I-Dos in a beautiful beach wedding. We love the Harrelsons! More below…

Matt: Vero Beach Police Lieutenant
Nanda: Physical Therapist Assistant

Family: Daughters Skylar 15 and Danika 9

Favorite CrossFit movement or workout:
Matt: Anything with rowing
Nanda: Cleans and snatches, dubs, running

Favorite cheat meal:
Matt: Nachos and beer
Nanda: Truffle fries!, any chocolate flavor Talenti gelato, homemade popcorn

Hobbies: Competing in various mud/obstacle races around the state of Florida, Indoor rowing competitions, softball league (Matt) and spending time at the beach with our two girls.

Little known fact about you:
Matt: Although born in Louisiana, I grew up in British Columbia, Canada, gaining dual citizenship.
Nanda: Born and raised on a farm outside of Asheville, NC in hundred year old house. Even with my fear of heights I went skydiving 5 times in one year!
