Saturday Weightlifting
Each Saturday, we will be holding an Olympic Lifting workout/training session at 10 AM. The workouts will be programmed and led by Brian, our USAW Coach. They will last approximately an hour and are a great opportunity to fine-tune your lifts. The cost is $10 each session.
"Collin"
Six rounds for time of:
400 m run with plate, sandbag or kettlebell 45/35
12 Push press 115/85
12 Box jumps, 24 inch box
12 Sumo deadlift high-pull, 95/65
Do we need to RSVP for these Saturday sessions?
I’m super nervous about this WOD. Hero’s are always tough and 6 rounds is a lot. Should be interesting.
P.S. GO NOLES!!!!!
No need to RSVP now. If it gets crazy, we may put a cap on it. But, Brian is good at managing a lot of people at once and he also has a friend/coach down in Jupiter that he can bring up to help him.
This WOD was a tough one.
Thinking today is not a good day to get back to the gym after nearly 2 weeks away… ugh!
A word of advice to you afternoon WODers: do not put your sandbag down in a puddle. Trust me.
Jim ,Curious what round were you on? Debbie just get it over with, it will hurt but you will feel better, besides its raining you might get to row with a sandbag!!
I think it was round 3 when I put the sandbag on one of the tires outside, and it fell down into the hole which was rather wet. Of course I left it there while I did the push presses, box jumps and SDLHPs, just to make sure it soaked up every last cc of water.
IT FEELS SO GOOD TO BE BACK! it felt good to get my butt kicked on this one. Im finally home again.
