There isn't a day that goes by in the gym when I'm not inspired by or proud of the women in our gym. I pulled an impressive stat the other day: 58% of our members are women. The vast majority are over 40. They're professionals, moms and grandmothers. 

Most of them walked in already knowing exactly what they wanted: to build strength for life as they age. And, even though some were terrified to come through our doors for the first time, they remembered their “why” and made it happen. 

They show up and do the work, whether that's in our group classes or one-on-one in personal training.

And now? They're deadlifting, squatting, lunging, jumping. Many have strict pull-ups. This summer, I’ve gotten texts and photos of some literally climbing mountains. Trying new sports. Not sitting on the sidelines. And I'm talking about women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s!

But the thing we notice most after they've been around a few months is how they carry themselves. The confidence is always the most profound change we see. 

Another awesome thing is that, somewhere along the way, this stopped being just a place to work out and became a place to belong. Our women have built real friendships here, the kind that carry outside the gym doors. They root each other on in the workout and show up for each other in the real world.

So this is us saying to the women of Vero Strength: we see you, and this place is what it is because of you.
